Ep 3 | Justin ”Demeanor” Harrington & Joy Williams
Our 1st is Justin "Demeanor" Harrington. Justin lives in Greensboro and is a musician, poet and actor. In his music he merges Hip Hop and unorthodox folk elements to illustrate the linkages between contemporary and traditional cultural music.
Our 2nd guest is Joy Williams. Joy lives in Winston-Salem and has choreographed in North Carolina, Virginia, Texas as well as Brazil, Colombia, and Mali. She is the founder of Hope To Thrive, a local nonprofit that promotes health and wellbeing through food, community, and conversation. She has a bachelors degree in social work, and masters degrees in choreography and divinity.
