Victoria Victoria is the brain child of singer-songwriter-producer, Tori Elliott. In 2016, Victoria Victoria released their debut album, Coastal Beast. From there, Elliott’s songs have been featured on reality tv shows such as Love Island, and most recently, Elliott teamed up with guitarist/producer Charlie Hunter, and together they wrote and released their nine song album, To the Wayside. Tori resides in Winston Salem, North Carolina, where she writes and records songs in her home studio, Strange Kid Studios.

In this episode of Crash Radio we are joined by short-story writer Dave Bare and country singer-songwriter Michael C. Parris.
Dave Bare, co-host and founder of the popular library podcast, Dave and the Borrowers, is an amateur short story writer and Asheboro Librarian. His stories have been published in Thrive Magazine, accompanied by art work from his dear friend Rich Powell. One of which, The Turning Tree, is set in the fictional Asheboro analog town of Hantonville, NC. He is the lucky husband of author Micki Bare and step-father to RhinoLeap's own, Evan Finch.
 
Michael C. Parris is from Millboro, NC, but grew up in Randolph County, NC.
When Covid hit, Michael started posting his songs on social media, and, as fate would have it, wound up writing songs with Will Kimbrough, a Nashville-based singer-songwriter and producer. Will became a mentor and a friend, helping Michael polish his skills. Michael's album “HoneyBee” blends roots music styles, including country, bluegrass, roots-rock and folk with simple lyrics and beautiful imagery, harkening back to Michael’s Randolph County beginnings.

Acisse Jay is a rock/blues singer-songwriter from Norfolk, VA. Influenced early on by the melodic prowess of Whitney Houston, she got started in her music career by learning to play piano, clarinet, tenor saxophone, and singing in her Baptist-church family choir.
 
Acisse is currently working on her 2nd EP Experimental Phase EP, Vol. 2 (The Evolution of a Thang) -tentatively scheduled for release at the end of the year. When she isn't writing and recording, Acisse Jay is a member of the Phoebes Band.

The Couldn't Be Happiers are a married, indie-country duo out of Winston Salem. Jordan Crosby Lee, a Texas native, plays the guitar, and Jodi Hildebran Lee, a Carolina native, plays percussion instruments which include tambourine and harmonica in this recording. Katie is a singer and actress based out of the Triad. Katie has appeared this year as Maria in The Sound of Music, Evelyn Nesbit in Piedmont Opera's Ragtime, and in the staged reading of Dot with Black Rep. Katie studied vocal performance at Elon University and now teaches voice at UNCSA - Community Programs, is a staff singer at St. Mary's Episcopal Church in High Point, and music directs Seasons Best Caroling. In her free time, Katie is an attorney, a wife, and a dog mom.
Andrea is a writer, thinker, hoper, dreamer, mother, math problem helper and inveterate wonderer. She began writing in 2008 when she became a stay at home mom. Her first blog was Thoughts on Dirt, a Discourse on my Adventures in Urban Gardening.
